June Meeting Recap

Announcements:
- Sew Day July 14th
- Music Festival August 6th. We will have a booth and need volunteers to man the booth.
- Approximately 3 dozen quilt tops have been made so far for the quilts of valor. Make sure you include your name and the name of the quilt.
- The Friendship quilt guild will be hosting s quilt show the first weekend in November at the Pell City Civic Center
- July meeting: bring your favorite quilting gadget/notion and show us how to use it! The FQ for July is off-white
- August meeting: bring your least favorite notion/gadget and tell us why we shouldn't waste our money on it.
- The Lick Skillet opportunity quilt is coming together very nicely. Soon we will have the tickets available to members to sell.




This month we had a wonderful guest speaker, Ann Barrett, who shared with us her many lovely applique tips and works of art. Thank you for sharing your wonderful quilts with us!
